About DecentCanopy
DecentCanopy helps communities see the projects, people, funds, and relationships that make a resilient
creative ecosystem. Follow the connections, explore their sources, and find the wider forest around each
endeavor.
A home for independent creators to find each other, document their projects, and grow new connections.
The existing Artizen project and fund canopy is a frozen historical archive, alongside the Green Tea Party cluster.
No new data is expected from Artizen.
Decent means connecting geographically distributed endeavors to public ledgers and transparent evidence.
Connect a wallet to create your own Decent Creator blip. Edit your profile, record project progress,
and track funding sources you are exploring, applying to, or reporting receipts from.
Your wallet signs your public updates. Signing costs no gas and sends no payment.
Profiles are portable IPFS records; a public repository index helps everyone discover them for now.
This is not fully decentralized discovery yet. Signatures prove wallet control, not real-world identity or the truth of a claim.
If you want, document your Artizen experience in your journey: what happened, your own payout experience,
and evidence you choose to share. We do not assert that any payouts were or were not made.
These accounts remain separate from the historical archive, and are not independently verified.

The map's Supporter cards describe other independent projects; they are not DecentCanopy's own token. A purchase link will appear only after our release, mint and listing are verified, using DecentHead's existing purchase route.
Support is optional: no token is needed to explore or participate. A Supporter edition is not project ownership, equity, a promise of rewards or a financial return.

🌱 Build the canopy with us
Open source and community-built. Ideas and fixes start as GitHub issues; contributors earn on the auto payroll.
File an issue to join the contributor whitelist.Pitch ideas or pick up issues. Funded bounty labels specify USDC; the idea's author shares 20% via idea-credit.Ship it. Merged work is queued on the payroll automatically and paid out on Base.
📌 Keep the canopy available
No token needed to join. Use your wallet and the community pinning account to publish, or export your signed record to keep independently.$0.10 USDC per qualifying week. Keep the canopy backup pinned using Pinata or IPFS Desktop/Kubo and serve it through your own public gateway. Approval and matching-byte checks are required; at most 20 pinners are rewarded each week. A queued reward is not a payment; settlement depends on available USDC funding.

Open Files → Import → From IPFS, paste the backup CID, and retain the pin. For reward checks, expose a public HTTPS gateway serving your pinned data; a desktop pin without a reachable gateway cannot qualify yet.

These controls use only the published public Canopy backup. Browser-local creator drafts, wallet secrets and unpublished edits are excluded. Opening controls or selecting a provider uploads nothing.

Verification compares exact byte length and SHA-256 with the published manifest and checks the backup format and public file list. Recovery downloads preserve those bytes; they do not replace the live index or publish records. Credentials stay in this tab and are cleared on close. Pin requests already submitted may still finish after closing. Pin acceptance and retrieval do not prove retention, independent storage, reward approval or payment.

Only the signing wallet can publish a replacement profile. Wallet control is not proof of legal identity or historical project ownership. Never share private keys, seed phrases, Artizen credentials, or anyone else’s private information.
Community IPFS pinning keeps onboarding simple; the repo index and relay currently provide discovery and publishing access. Signed exports can be independently retained and pinned. External avatar/evidence sites may change or disappear.

Grow your local canopy
Opt in to preview and import data you are permitted to use. This prototype stores it only in this browser, not on a server or IPFS. Do not include passwords, cookies, private contact lists, or another person's private data.
No platform account access is used. Never enter credentials, private keys or seed phrases here. Imported identities, ownership, websites, and activity are unverified participant claims.
